The Group conducts many CSR activities in support of children’s wellbeing by providing a helping hand in payment of yearly education fee for students of school and colleges who come from lower economy background. There are some activities which includes donation of Desktops/Laptops, provision of school bags, books, uniforms, provision of yearly bus-pass to school students, drinking water facilities and construction of toilet blocks (ODF) nearing school premises in support of Swatch Bharat Abhyan, an initiative by Government of India.

There has been a wider support given in promotion of sports by conducting tournaments, donation of sports kits, and required furniture to schools. It was our greater initiatives in providing an exposure for school students to understand different ways in forming a brighter career by conducting counselling sessions.

The BKG Group has got major concerns in development and promoting the significance of health and hygiene in local public. There are some serious efforts made to provide Medical assistance to the local public, regular health check-ups to employees, and provision of ambulance facilities to the needy. The group organizes ‘Swatchata Pakhwada’ program every year in the town and mines in order to create awareness of cleanliness and personal hygiene, dustbins are also distributed on the day of event.

It is our yearly event to conduct free Eye-camp, blood donation camp for all the public of local town and surrounding villages, done on the day of Death Anniversary of the Founder of BKG Group Sri B. Kumara Gouda. The Event helps public to have a free eye check-ups and eye operation at free of cost. The group believes in building health of general public by organizing yoga camps, health camps, organizing public events in order to spread awareness of HIV.

As part of CSR the group initiates to protect the Art and culture of region by encouraging public to conduct various cultural programs, festivals, fares, happening in the local town and villages. There are some activities where the group give the financial support in building of new temples, renovation of older temples and facilitating required commodities to them. There are some major contributions in donation to mass marriages, construction of marriage halls and sponsoring to the great Hampi Utsava Event, which purely intents to promote art and culture.

The Group has made intensive efforts for the development of Livelyhood of local public and keeping up an effective response and support to the social grief. The group had major contributions in providing Flood Relief Funds in the flood effected regions of Karnataka by distributing basic clothing and food to people. It has also extended a helping hand in, provision of street lights in villages, traffic Barricades on roads, adds up to our contributions.
